This is a funny one, actually. I think it has to do with religion, but black cats are bad
luck in America.

The most helpful advice l can think of is fairly simple, and it comes from my dad.

Growing up, he aIways told me, "Do what makes you happy.”

This is pretty common advice for everyone and it seems obvious, but it's helped me a lot over the last few years.
